April Showers

This was a busy weekend - not with sports and kids' activities like normal though.  My friend hosted at her house a baby shower for a really sweet mom-to-be and I got to help out.  Friday night was prep night - the decorations were in place and food prep started.  Saturday started early by visiting a co-worker's house to clip daffadils from the multitudes growing along the driveway.  Then back to the house for finishing touches on the menu.  Even though not all things went the way we had planned no one was any the wiser to our last minute changes.  The mom-to-be got lots of adorable and useful baby items and everyone had a great time.  My friend and I were past exhausted by the end of the night but still had time to hang out and watch the Kentucky Wildcats play in the Final Four.  So sad they lost by one point.  Better luck next year boys.
